MPIA Request Form

Please send us a clear picture of the missing person through Messenger on Facebook, any of our social media pages or you can upload one here. Please fill out the form below as precisely as possible; it will be used to create a flyer.

We receive a lot of requests. Once we process your request, it will be added to our Missing Person Database and scheduled to be posted on our social media pages.

If a child is missing, be sure to also reach out to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) at 1-800-THE-LOST® (1-800-843-5678).

After you submit this form and send us a picture, watch this video really quick. It quickly explains how a majority of the missing are found and how we can help you.

Roughly 600,000 people are reported missing every year. Given this large number, it’s crucial for you, the reporter, to take the lead in helping to find them unless directed otherwise.

Police departments across the United States have stated, “We don’t look for the missing.” Since police departments operate locally, it’s important to provide them with tips and leads.

You can assist the police by empowering the community to help. Start by sharing the missing person’s flyer and asking your friends and community to assist. Social media is a very powerful tool; however, as a business, if posts don’t receive attention, they may not be shown to as many people.

Finding the missing in the vast United States is challenging, and every case is unique. If you’ve ever played Minesweeper, the process is somewhat similar. Each “click” on the board provides leads and tips, helping you find the “mine.” Similarly, by placing flyers in areas where you believe the missing person might be, you can start to gather tips and leads that help you narrow down their location. Our database can aid in tracking the work being done and empowering the community to assist. The flyers include a QR code that links directly to the database entry, which contains important information, links, a discussion space, and an interactive map.

If your missing loved one is lost in the wilderness, you can contact us directly to request User Tracking. This tool will show you which areas on the ground have been searched. It is a very powerful tool, but it uses significant computing resources from our website and is only available to families that specifically request it. Note that using this tool may cause issues with the individual marking system for the map; we are working to fix this bug. Currently, the advanced feature is only available for Android users. All missing, get the generic map marking feature, you have to be a registered(free) user on the site to use it.

Be sure to contact jails and hospitals, as the missing person report may not be communicated to the police investigating the case.

If their vehicle is missing as well, have people check the roads for signs of crashes, which is a common occurrence.

You can also request the police department to make a public post.

If you believe the person might be homeless and living on the streets, get a list of all the churches and homeless centers and send their flyer to them.
