Aidan Clune, who was 19-years-old at the time of his disappearance, was last seen on April 27, 2022, in Elko County, Nevada. He was traveling from California to Utah on April 26, and then continued through Nevada, where he stayed overnight at a hotel in Wells. The following morning, Clune checked out of the hotel and drove south on U.S. Highway 93. Later that morning, his red 2007 Nissan Frontier pickup truck was found abandoned near Mile Marker 23 on U.S. Highway 93. Searchers discovered footprints leading away from the vehicle and tracked them for over 10 miles into the desert. Some of the footprints suggested that Clune had removed his shoes and may have been running. At the time of his disappearance, Clune was reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis. His case remains unsolved. Sonoma County, California police are investigating.
