Ann Craig (born Ann Stapp) was originally from Quincy, Illinois. She later moved to Cicero, near Chicago, where she built a life with her family. After her husbandโs passing at age 52, Ann returned to Quincy in the late 1960s. Over time, she struggled with grief and alcohol addiction, which led her to associate with a rough crowd. She experienced periods of homelessness and was frequently seen in Washington Park. After a period of sobriety following a jail sentence, Ann reconnected with her daughters and looked forward to becoming a grandmother. However, she relapsed at a family gathering and once again faced difficulties. The last known sighting of Ann was around April 9, 1982, when she was seen speaking with two men at a park in Quincy. The men were reportedly driving a blue Ford truck. After that day, she never collected her Social Security check, and she has remained missing ever since.
