Anthony was last seen in Redding on August 19, 2020, after dropping his fiancée and child off at Sacramento Airport. They were moving to New York, and he planned to join them in a few days. He drove back to Redding, arriving at 1 a.m. He was supposed to go to Crescent City to go fishing but never arrived. He also never picked up his last paycheck from his employer, the Woodside Grill. Several days after his disappearance, his aunt found his vehicle in a parking lot in the boat ramp area at Lake Redding Park.
