When a child goes missing. They're not camping in the woods. There's rare occasions where the child is living out of a car or on the streets. The remaining cases, there's an adult at play. Children aren't renting homes. So we have to ask ourselves, do we want to support that type of action by calling them runaways? When a child is called a runaway, the media doesn't cover it, the police downplay it, like it's normal for adults to take children. Is this child missing, yes, is there an adult at play, I'd put money on it. When some one is declared missing, the people that care about the person the most don't know where that person is. There's cases of "runaway", then finding the child cut up in pieces by an adult.
