Boches was last seen leaving his wife's home in Deerfield around 7 a.m. on March 24, 2020, telling his wife he was heading to work to meet with a client later that day. The last known contact with Boches occurred via telephone at 11:55 p.m. on March 24. His car was later found abandoned on a side street in Waukegan, but there was no sign of him in or near the vehicle, according to the sheriff's office. Boches' law office is located in the 400 block of Grand Avenue in Waukegan. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with red lettering. It was also reported that he made contact with friends and acquaintances around the time of his disappearance.
