Brooke Roberts, her father John Roberts, and her mother Julie Englehart have been missing since October 6, 2019. In 2017, the family moved from Hesperia, California, to Ozark, Alabama, where John had grown up. They later returned to Hesperia in 2019 and were staying at the Motel 6 on Cataba Road throughout September and early October. On October 6, Julie spoke with a relative by phone, stating that she had secured a job cleaning used trailers for an unidentified business in the High Desert area. She also mentioned that the family was in the process of moving to a location near Spring Valley Lake. Julie promised to call again the following day but never did. No one has seen or heard from the family since that conversation.
