Bryce Laspisa
Summary:
On August 30, 2013, Bryce Laspisa vanished without a trace. He was last seen driving up a mountain road near Castaic Lake, California. Bryce had called his parents at 2 a.m. that day, telling them he was pulling off the road. However, his car was later found wrecked near the lake, but there was no sign of him.
Bryce was born on April 30, 1994, in Springfield, Illinois, and was an artistic and friendly young man. He moved to California with his parents and was set to study graphic and industrial design at Sierra College. However, his life took a dark turn as he began using substances like Vyvanse and alcohol.
In the weeks leading up to his disappearance, Bryce's behavior became increasingly erratic. He broke up with his girlfriend, became more withdrawn, and even gave away personal belongings. On August 30, he called his mother to say he was too tired to drive and would rest. But when the doorbell rang later that day, it was California Highway Patrol officers delivering the devastating news.
Despite extensive searches and investigations, Bryce's whereabouts remain unknown. Theories abound, ranging from him wanting to start a new life to the possibility of a tragic end. His parents hold onto hope, continuing to issue missing persons posters, desperately seeking answers to this baffling case.
