Cassandra Boskofsky last spoke to family on September 1, 2019. She had contact with law enforcement on August 7, 2019 in Anchorage, Alaska. She is described to have brown hair and brown eyes and is 4'11" and 120 pounds. She has scars on both knees, her ears are pierced and she has a tattoo on her neck of a butterfly in faded blue and black ink. She may go by the name Cassandra Beaver. Her family believes that she may have been a victim of Brian Steven Smith, who in 2024 was convicted of killing two Anchorage women.

In September 2024, she was declared legally dead as a result of being a homicide victim. Even still, her body has still not been recovered.
