Chandler Smith was last seen on October 22, 2020, on Wire Road in Aiken, South Carolina, after being released from the Aiken County Detention Center. A cab had been scheduled to pick him up, and the driver later confirmed that Chandler was present in the detention center’s parking lot when he arrived. Before getting into the cab, Chandler was approached by a slim-built African-American man inside a red Mitsubishi sedan occupied by two Hispanic men. The man placed a hand on him while they exchanged words. Chandler then leaned into the cab and told the driver he no longer needed a ride. He was last seen getting into the red Mitsubishi sedan with the three men. He has not been seen or heard from since.
