In 1978, Cherie Wyant walked out of a children's home or detention facility in San Bernardino County. She was involved in a car accident and walked out of the California hospital. She had previously spent some time in a Clark County, Washington foster home and had run away from a girl's group home in Corbett, Oregon in late May of 1978. She was possibly last seen wearing a red capped-sleeve short sleeved shirt with bell bottom jeans.
