Thirty-eight years later, there are still no answers. The Colorado Springs Police Department was dispatched to the 3300 block of Ashwood Circle for a missing child. When officers arrived, they found that 7-month-old Christopher Abeyta had last been seen in his crib around 12:30 a.m. By approximately 6:30 a.m., family members discovered that Christopher was missing. The circumstances of his disappearance are considered suspicious.
