Summary

Wiles was last seen in Humphreys County, Tennessee, on February 7, 2019. He purchased a 1998 Buick and spent the afternoon showing it to a friend around town. Around 8:00 p.m., the Buick broke down in the 8200 block of Old Highway 13. Wiles walked to a nearby residence, where he borrowed a phone to contact his girlfriend and ask for a ride. However, she had been drinking and did not feel she could drive safely. Wiles thanked the homeowner for letting him use the phone and was last seen walking back toward his car. He has not been heard from since. The following day, his girlfriend began searching for him and, unable to locate him, filed a missing person’s report. Severe storms had affected the area, causing flooding, and an extensive search turned up no clues regarding his whereabouts. Given that Wiles was familiar with the area, authorities believe it unlikely that he became lost. They suspect he may have sought shelter from the storm, and something happened to him afterward.
