Colton was last seen on August 5, 2024 in Jacksboro, Texas by the Sheriffs Office at Hwy 281 & Round Mountain Rd. He was pulled into a gated entrance when officers arrived and asked for ID for him and his passenger. It was a normal encounter with LE when Colton, seemingly for no reason ran. He was last seen running Westbound on 281 towards Round Mountain Rd. His passenger also fled the scene but was apprehended. Colton did have his cell phone on him, and he sent pictures of his location to his ex-wife stating that he would be traveling close to the bodies of water near the road. His last cell phone ping was at approximately 5pm when his phone died. Police have informed the family at this point they suspect foul play. It is believed at this point Colton may have been picked up in the area and lost his life due to drugs, prior drug use.
