Connies parents notified law enforcement on 01/24/1980 that Connie did not report to work (Copyset in Leitchfield, KY); however, her vehicle was found secured in the business parking lot. Co-workers noted that, given that Connie did not report for work and that her car was backed into a space that she did not normally use, gave them concern.
The day she was reported missing Jan,24 1980 was the day hers and her ex-husband’s divorce was final. A coworker of Connie's, states that Connie had told her on Jan 22, her ex husband said to Connie, “if I can't have you, no one will.”
