Case Information
Butzin was last seen on November 10 and reported missing on November 25. Authorities note that it is not unusual for him to have limited contact with family or friends for long periods. He is known to hike without informing others of his plans and often ventures off-trail. On Tuesday, November 26, Butzin's vehicle was found in the New World Gulch/Bear Canyon area.
