Dulce Alavez was last seen at Bridgeton City Park in Bridgeton, New Jersey, on September 16, 2019. Her mother, Noema Alavez Perez, along with Dulce, her three-year-old brother Manuel, and Noema’s eight-year-old sister, arrived shortly after 4:00 p.m., stopping first for ice cream. While Noema and her sister stayed in the car, Dulce and Manuel played on the playground about 30 yards away. At around 4:20 p.m., Manuel ran back, crying, with his ice cream on the ground. When Noema asked where Dulce was, Manuel pointed toward red maintenance sheds near the playground, saying she had run that way. After a brief search, Noema contacted authorities at 4:51 p.m. Authorities believe Dulce may have been abducted by an opportunistic predator. Her case remains unsolved.
