When Elizabeth failed to show up, her sister contacted Miguel, who stated that he had dropped her off at the Human Services Department that morning. Detectives with the Albuquerque Police Department confirmed that his phone records corroborated this claim. However, an investigation revealed that Elizabeth never signed in for her appointment, and her food assistance account has remained inactive since her disappearance. Additionally, her social media activity ceased entirely on the day she went missing.
