Veith is from Vancouver, WA, but was visiting a family beach home in Long Beach, WA. On 6-6-2021, at approximately 0730 hours, Veith went to the neighbor's house, left his dog with the neighbor and told them he had to take care of some personal matters. On 6-8-2021, Veith's vehicle was located nearby at an RV park but Veith was not with his vehicle. Search and Rescue combed the area around the vehicle but Veith was not located.
