Summary:

Fauna Frey was last seen in Grants Pass, Oregon, on June 29, 2020. She was grieving the recent loss of her brother, Dallas, and traveled there to notify his friends and give them some of his belongings. On June 27, she left home without extra clothes. The next day, she stopped for gas in Creswell, visited a friend of Dallasโ€™ in Wolf Creek, and looked for two more of his friends. Along the way, she picked up a hitchhiker, which was unlike her. That evening, she checked into a Super 8 in Grants Pass, called her father sounding distraught, and shopped at Fred Meyer. The next day, she withdrew cash in Rogue River and made a final purchase at Big 5 Sporting Goods. On September 23, her blue 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo was found locked on a remote mining road in Josephine County. Police questioned the hitchhiker but do not consider them a suspect. Fauna left behind her laptop and cell phone.
