Garren Beller lived in the 400 block of Liberty Street in Ashland, Oregon, and was visiting family and friends in Lake Eliza, Indiana, from November 15 to 19, 2009. On November 19, he was dropped off at a train station in Chicago, Illinois, to take an Amtrak train back to Oregon. However, he never used his ticket and there is no evidence that he boarded the train. His roommate reported him missing on November 25 after he failed to return home. Beller is a Caucasian male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his back, a scorpion tattoo on his right shoulder, and a half-inch scar on the bridge of his nose. His ears and nipples are pierced, and at the time of his disappearance, he had shoulder-length hair, which he typically wore in a ponytail.
