Clark was last seen by her mother inside their home in the 4400 block of Mersington Street in Kansas City, Missouri, at approximately 8:30 p.m. on December 1, 1991. Later that night, at 11:15 p.m., she placed a collect call to her mother from an unknown location. The call was abruptly disconnected and could not be traced. She has not been seen or heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Clark was known to frequent the Motor Inn in the 2000 block of Main Street. Foul play is suspected in her case. Just weeks before she vanished, on October 7, 1991, Clark had witnessed the murder of her former boyfriend. At the time of her disappearance, no one had been taken into custody for the crime. It remains unclear whether his murder was connected to her case, which remains unsolved.
