"On August 6, 2021, brothers, Scott and Tracy Hawkins went missing under mysterious circumstances in Caryville, Tennessee.
The two set out to hunt for ginseng, a prized medicinal plant found in Appalachian forests.
They parked their 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer on Highway 116 and entered the woods. They told their family they’d be home by 6:30 that evening, but they never returned.
Two days later, on August 8, a Campbell County deputy searched the area and found the Trailblazer parked where the brothers left it, but there was no trace of Scott or Tracy.
I’d be willing to come over that way and go kinda vagabond and live like a savage in the woods looking for any possible remains if the locals would welcome me? Just kinda figured I’d put it out there because I’m homeless, have no job, and already live the life of an ascetic where Im at… All I would need help with would be access to power outlets to keep my phone and laptop charged during my hikes to take pictures, make notes, use maps, and other things like that.
I’m 100% serious about this as well. I really have nothing important going on right now other than stuff I could do on the fly there as well. I sleep in an SUV kinda van lifeing it over in Virginia and it gets monotonous.
