Reynolds was last seen on May 8, 1999, leaving The Hideaway Club in Opp, Alabama, at approximately 3:15 a.m. He was in the company of Lamar Junior Stackhouse, Valerie Jones McCoy, Eula Jossett Lee, Tamara Monique Ward, and Angela Roberts Young. The group departed in a burgundy 1986 Chevrolet Caprice belonging to Stackhouse but never arrived at their respective residences. They were subsequently reported missing to local authorities. On September 29, 1999, more than four months after their disappearance, Stackhouse’s vehicle was discovered submerged in the Pea River in Coffee County, Alabama. The remains of Reynolds’s five companions were recovered from the car; however, Reynolds was not found inside the vehicle. Despite extensive searches of the river and surrounding areas, no trace of Reynolds has ever been located. His case remains unsolved.
