Jamie Valdez and his wife Anna both had the day off on 6/9/21 and planned to spend the day together. Anna got called into work and they got into an argument in front of Anna's mother and brother who they were living with at the time. They had moved in with Anna's mother to help care for her. Jamie stated he was going to Ozark where his teenaged daughter lives. After a few hours, he went back to his wife's job and asked if he could just go home, and she told him to go ahead. She said that Jamie had gone back to the home and packed clothes and $600 from her mother and left. On June 19, 2021, Jamie's car was found abandoned and parts of it dismantled. Some items from his wallet were also found. In September 2024, his last ICloud location was discovered to be a few miles from where his vehicle had been found and was under water. Jamie or his phone have not been found.
