Janson Brewer was last seen by his family on August 19, 2016, when he stopped by to pick up fishing poles. The next day, he called his brother to ask him to bring fishing worms. However, when his brother tried to call him later, Janson’s phone was turned off, and no one has been able to reach him since. Janson was traveling with Daniel “Shawn” Braden when the two left Lawrence County, Tennessee, in a borrowed silver and black 1994 Ford Ranger with a stepside bed. Daniel had made comments to people about returning to Florida to pick up a vehicle he had left there prior to his disappearance. However, neither man ever arrived, and they have not been heard from again. The truck remains missing as well. Daniel has ties to eastern Tennessee and Panama City Beach, Florida. Janson’s family strongly believes foul play was involved in their disappearances.
