Summary

Jennifer Wyant was last seen on June 28, 1980, at her residence in Tanglewood Apartments (now Whispering Oaks) on Tanglewood Court in Nashville, Tennessee. She had attended a softball team pool party earlier that evening and has not been heard from since. Her apartment was undisturbed, and her car was found in the complex parking lot, but she was missing. Neighbors reported hearing screams and saw three to four individuals forcing a woman into a dark-colored, four-door sedan before driving away. They informed the apartment security guard, but the police were not notified at the time. Authorities believe the woman was Wyant. On December 11, 1980, Wyant’s driver’s license was found on Blue Lake Road (now Blue Lake Lane) in Rutherford County, near Percy Priest Lake, about 15 miles from her home. Despite searches with police dogs in the nearby woods, no additional evidence was found. Wyant’s disappearance remains unsolved.
