Castillo was last seen in the early morning hours of March 21, 2015, in El Paso, Texas. According to his girlfriend, the two had a disagreement, prompting Castillo to exit the vehicle and take a walk to cool off. He was last observed walking west along the 11600 block of Pellicano Drive near George Dieter Drive, not far from the apartment complex where he lived with his parents. At approximately 3:00 a.m., a text message was sent from Castillo’s phone to a friend stating, “Please help me.” Following his disappearance, his phone was discovered beneath a bus stop bench in the vicinity where he was last seen. Castillo has not been heard from since, and his disappearance remains suspicious and unsolved.
