Caldwell was last heard from on June 15, 2018, when she contacted her son by phone from Hulen, Kentucky. In her final Facebook messages to family members, she expressed fear for her safety and disclosed that her boyfriend had physically abused her. One message read, “I’m okay though, and I’ll check in every day to let you know. If I don’t by 6 p.m., assume something is wrong.” She has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Caldwell did not have a car or a driver’s license.
