Nunn was hiking the Appalachian Trail. He was supposed to take a train in Culpeper, VA to head to Gum Spring, VA, but never showed up at the train station. Last seen by hotel staff leaving the Baymont Inn, located at 10 S. Commerce Ave. in Front Royal, Virginia with an unknown direction of travel. Unknown clothing description at the time of disappearance. He lost his phone on a train in Florida. He is considered endangered due to medical reasons. He is known to wear glasses and has a Marine Corp tattoo on his upper arm.
