A fire claimed the life of his mother on June 24th on Freedom Court in Phenix City, Alabama. When the fire department arrived, the single-story rancher home was fully engulfed and was eventually reduced to a slab. This home is located within 2 to 4 miles of both volunteer and career fire departments. At the time of the fire, two men lived in the home.
