**Case Details:**

Karlie Gusé went missing from White Mountain Estates in Chalfant, California, in the early morning hours of October 13, 2018. She was last seen walking east of Highway 6 by the White Mountain Estates. Karlie was reported to be disoriented at the time of her disappearance and did not have any personal belongings or her cell phone with her. She was wearing a white shirt and grey sweatpants.

Karlie's disappearance occurred after a night of partying with friends, during which she smoked marijuana. She called her stepmother in a panic, saying she needed to be picked up from the party. Melissa Gusé picked Karlie up from the party, and later stated that she seemed disoriented and exhibited paranoid behavior. Once home, it took hours to get Karlie calmed down enough to sleep. When Melissa awoke the next morning, October 13, 2018, Karlie was asleep in bed, but when she checked on her a second time around 7AM, Karlie was nowhere to be found. 

Reports suggest that Karlie may have been seen in Tonopah, Nevada, about 100 miles away from her home, in March 2021, raising suspicions that she might have been transported there from alongside Highway 6. Despite extensive search efforts and investigations by the Mono County Sheriff's Office and the FBI, Karlie's whereabouts remain unknown.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing someone matching Karlie's description in the vicinity of Highway 6 on the morning of her disappearance. However, tracking dogs lost her scent in the area.
