Saunders was last seen in Heidrick, Kentucky, on August 5, 2015, while driving a white Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck. He has not been heard from since. Three months after Saunders was last seen, his father contacted his son’s girlfriend, who is also the mother of his two children. She reported that Saunders had traveled to Jacksonville, Florida, in search of employment. Although Saunders was estranged from his wife, they remained on good terms.
