Laylee is the daughter of Enrique Gallegos-Gonzalez and Michelle Gallegos. Their marriage ended in 1999, leading to Enrique gaining custody of Laylee and her sibling, Quique. In February 2002, Enrique fatally shot Quique before taking his own life, and Laylee was sent to live with her grandma, Yolanda Gonzalez-Garcia. Yolanda fled with Laylee and may have gone to Mexico.
