A retired Army vet with multiple tattoos was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a white polo, and no shoes at 7:10 AM on June 27, 2024, leaving a family home in Sunland Park. His vehicle was found abandoned at 1:39 PM the same day near Transmountain Rd./ Powerline Road and Smugglers Pass off the 375 Loop in the Franklin Mountains, El Paso, TX. The keys were left in the ignition, all doors were open, and his phone was left behind. This behavior is extremely unusual, and there is concern for his health and welfare. The police have been notified, and a BOLO has been activated, as he may be experiencing a PTSD episode.
