On December 10, 2024, Martha Overholser, was last seen at Mather Point on the South Rim and later failed to return on a commercial bus tour. Martha Overholser, 66, is believed to have walked west from the Mather Point area, possibly towards the Bright Angel Lodge or Hermits Rest. She is described as a white female, 5’2” in height and 110 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a long off-white coat, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and navy-blue bag.
