On July 24, 2024, 28-year-old Matthew Marshall Jr mysteriously disappeared after telling several friends he was going to walk from Hot Springs, SD to Rapid City. He seemed to have changed his mind, with witnesses seeing him head back into town that evening, rather than away from it. However, friends and family havenβt seen or heard from his since.
