Summary

Molly Miller and Colt Haynes disappeared from Wilson, Oklahoma, on July 8, 2013. The night before, they were passengers in a 2012 Honda Accord driven by 21-year-old James Conn Nipp. At 10:30 p.m., Nipp, who was driving the vehicle, fled from police during a traffic stop, leading to a high-speed chase that reached speeds of up to 120 mph and ended near Long Hollow Road in Love County. Around 12:47 a.m., Molly made multiple 911 calls, all of which dropped. No one was dispatched to the area to investigate the calls. Colt called friends, claiming he was injured, coughing up blood, and unable to move in a creek bed near Long Hollow and Pike Roads. Despite searching the area, Colt’s friends couldn’t locate him. Molly also made several calls to loved ones, saying she was stranded in a field. Her phone was pinged off a tower between Pike and Long Hollow Roads. Nipp was convicted of eluding police and sentenced to ten years in prison. He served four years and was released in 2018.
