Randy Hanson, a Wisconsin resident, was visiting his family in Barstow, California, when he went missing on September 9, 2022. That day, Hanson left his family’s residence in his black 2007 BMW sedan, planning to return later in the evening and drive back to Wisconsin the following day. However, he never returned, and his family has not heard from him since. His vehicle was later found abandoned in the desert, with his clothing—folded on the back seat—along with his cell phone and a broken GPS device inside. Given the circumstances, foul play is suspected in his disappearance.
