Rasheeyda was playing on the fire escape of an apartment building in San Diego, California on July 15, 1991. The building superintendent asked her and her friend to move away from the fire escape because it was dangerous. The two girls left the area immediately and Rasheeyda went home, stayed awhile and then left again at 2:30 p.m. Rasheeyda said that she was going to walk to downtown San Diego. She never returned home and has not been seen again. She is described as a streetwise and extremely friendly girl. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance, which remains unsolved.
