On 5/12/2024 at approximately 0928 hours, Robert Downs was reported missing from his residence, located on N Agua Fria Drive within Sun City, AZ 85351. On 5/10/2024 at approximately 1600 hours was the last time Robert was seen. The complainant advised that Robert was picked up by his friend early that morning and they were together most of the day. His friend advised that he gave him a ride back to his residence in Sun City, AZ. Roberts phone and wallet were left at the residence. The truck used by Robert was located Monday morning (05/13/24) on Castle Hot Springs road near the Holcim Castle Hot Springs Rock Pit #2.

In March of 2023, Robert Joesph Downs was released from prison after serving an 18 year prison sentence for 2nd degree Murder and Ag Assault with a deadly Weapon.
