According to the local news NBC K5 on May 20th 2024, "On July 6, 2020, the 93-year-old dementia patient walked away from his Centralia home. A neighbor gave him a ride to the intersection of Pearl and Reynolds." ""We looked everywhere that we could possibly think," said Dale Gerard, Robert's son. "We don't have any more leads. He’s gone." The Chronical news from May 6th 2024, also stated that Robert had climbed a fence at his home and then walked to his neighbors house who then gave him the ride to the Pearl and Reynolds intersection, where he talked with individuals who were visiting a loved one under the supervision of Reliable enterprises.
