Samantha Clarke was last seen in Orange, Virginia, shortly after midnight on September 13, 2010. She left her home on Lindsay Drive with only her house key and never returned. That night, Samantha’s mother, Barbara Tinder, was working the night shift at Rigid Products on Old Gordonsville Road. During her break, she noticed a missed call from the family’s home phone. When she called back, her son, Hunter, told her Samantha had gone out. It was later determined that Samantha had made the call but left no message. Randy Allen Taylor, who knew Samantha and spoke with her the day she vanished, is considered a potential suspect. In August 2013, he was arrested for abducting 17-year-old Alexis Murphy, who disappeared that month. He was later convicted of her murder. Her remains were found in December 2020 and identified in February 2021. Randy Allen Taylor has never been charged in Samantha’s case.
