In this case, I did submit a freedom of information request to the New Haven Police department to see if I could get the full police report from this case. I sent that a little over a week ago and have not heard back. Since their is very little information on this case, the police might would give me something, however, since the missing persons report is only 10 years old, they may not give it to me. I did a lot of reading on Samuel Byrd and its hard to do it, because the name is such a common name. Also in his case, their is no actual middle name listed which is strange, you dont usually see that. The missing persons report was filed in 2014, but we dont know by who exactly. If I do get the case information I will be sure to inform everyone!

I was given the full case file which only encompasses 5 pages. Most of it is redacted, though we do know that their was recently an exclusion out of Delaware. We also know that the police are still actively engaging in this case!
