Shannon was last seen at approximately 4:00pm on 12/18/2006 at a friend's residence in the vicinity of the 200 block of W. Blackhawk Ave. in Prairie du Chien, WI and hasn't been seen since. Her boyfriend Michael John Burroughs was charged with first-degree reckless homicide in connection with Shannons death. He plead no contest to it in 2012 and sentenced to 31 years in prison.
