Summary

On December 13, 2004, Adams called his girlfriend at 11:00 a.m. and mentioned he was giving a man a ride to Keys, Oklahoma. Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Adams was seen at a convenience store in Cookson, Oklahoma. After purchasing a soda, he stood outside the store for a few minutes before leaving alone in his pickup truck. Adams’s disappearance is considered suspicious, and authorities suspect foul play. His vehicle, a white GMC SCI one-ton truck with Oklahoma license plate SEQ714, is also missing. Investigators are seeking to identify a man who may be connected to the case. He was seen at a Dollar General in Tahlequah, near Adams’s apartment, that morning. The individual is described as a Caucasian male, 40–50 years old in 2004, 5’11” and 180–200 pounds, with salt-and-pepper hair. He was wearing a tan Carhartt jacket, jeans, a flannel shirt, and a green stocking cap. He drove a faded black or charcoal 2000 Ford Ranger. The man, who claimed to work at a construction site in Keys, lingered in the store parking lot before leaving around the time Adams disappeared.
