Precursor: With every missing persons case, theirs always an element to it, some cases have different elements. The element in this case, is a vehicle as we will see.
Circumstances:
What is known about the Teresa Lynn Fittin case is that on August 1st 1975 , she was in an argument with her boyfriend after returning from a bar and to cool off she got in her 1966 Nash Rambler and drove off to never been seen again. According to NBC Miami (2021) “When she left that night she just went out with what she was wearing, got into her car and I guess drove off,” said Fort Lauderdale Police Detective Sgt. Steve Novak” In addition, the Charley Report ( 2016) added that “Fittin’s wallet was located in a Fort Lauderdale library on August 11, 1975, ten days after she vanished.” The Charley report also pointed out that it was her boyfriend that reported her missing and that the boyfriend had told Tereas mother, that she was pregnant, to which Teresas mother does not believe.
While reading the Charley Report and the NBC Miami, one thing that I noticed is that in this case its being treated as a homicide investigation as foul play is suspected. I am not entirely for sure where the foul play aspect comes in at. I am assuming its by the fact that her wallet was found at a Library. I wonder if its possible that she just left it their by accident or perhaps she drove their first and then something happened? It is important to note that her car has never been found and the waterways in the area had been checked. Her mother is Jocelia Travisano and she is 80 years old and is still searching for her long lost daughter.
