Summary

Turner was last seen in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 30, 2019. She had spent a brief period at the Dobra Tea shop in the Squirrel Hill area before leaving at approximately 6:00 p.m. to take her usual bus home to the Hazelwood neighborhood. The bus driver confirmed that Turner disembarked at her regular stop near the intersection of Hazelwood Avenue and Giddings Street, close to her home. Around this time, Turner also spoke to her sister on the phone. She has not been seen or heard from since. At approximately 8:30 p.m., a man crossing the Homestead Grays Bridge, located about 2.7 miles from Turner’s bus stop, discovered several of her belongings. These included her purse, shoes, and a ceramic pot she had been carrying. The purse contained her keys, wallet, cell phone, water bottle, and diary. After reviewing her diary, police found no entries suggesting any immediate concerns or suspicious circumstances. It is highly uncharacteristic of Turner to leave without notifying anyone, and her disappearance is considered suspicious.
