Johnson was last seen on October 10, 2016, outside Post Oak East Apartments in Euless, Texas, with her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Revill. Despite their breakup two months earlier, Revill continued pursuing her. That night, he arrived uninvited while Johnson was spending time with her twin brother and others. She stepped outside to talk to him, leaving her shoes inside, indicating she didn’t plan to be gone long. About 20 minutes later, Revill returned alone, claiming Johnson left in another vehicle after an argument. Her brother found her phone, car keys, and one sock near where Revill’s car had been parked and saw him acting suspiciously near his open trunk before driving away. Police were called and a search of his home uncovered the shirt Johnson had been wearing that night. He was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping, later upgraded to kidnapping with intent to kill. In 2019, a jury convicted him, sentencing him to life in prison. Johnson remains missing.
