Traveling to California alone, her personal belongings were stolen. She borrowed a stranger's phone to call home, to tell them the news. Family called the number back, at which point the stranger stated she appeared lost and hungry. He bought her food, informed her she was in a bad area and gave her his number if she needed any help. That night, Tyriyana called the man that had helped her, telling him, she was in danger and didn't know where she was. Since then, no one has been able to get ahold of her.
